Forest Losee Canyon Campground was our first experience truly boondocking and we were pleasantly surprised. Not only was it out there but it was also close to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. We were unsure at first when we were doing a quick drive through but once we got Wanda in there and leveled, we were beyond elated at our spot. There was a ton of space and the only time you heard traffic was when someone was driving past looking for their own gem of a boondocking spot.
This spot is where we realized we loved having the front windows of Wanda open (Class A) and looking out at nature. The views were beautiful. Mountains and trees galore. This was also our first spot that we actually sat down and enjoyed a nice refreshing beverage and watched the sunset. Which I’m sure you can tell by the picture was beautiful.
The first day we went out exploring we were a little nervous as this was our first true boondocking experience but when we returned, Wanda was still locked, in the same spot, with all 6 tires still just fine and nothing missing. From then on we were gone the majority of the days we stayed exploring the surrounding areas.
