This maple almond crusted whitefish takes an ordinary whitefish and turns it in to a crowd pleaser. Even those picky eaters can't resist this recipe.

Yields2 Servings

 2 tbsp flaxseed meal
 ¼ cup olive oil or coconut oil
 2 tsp maple syrup
 ½ cup sliced almonds
 ¼ tsp salt
 2 whitefish fillets

Mix all of the ingredients (except the fish) in a bowl.

Put the fish in the bowl to soak up all the liquid.

Heat a pan to medium-low and add 1 tsp oil.

Pan sear the fish for a few minutes on each side, just until cooked through. If you want to bake the fish instead, turn the oven on 350 F and bake for about 10 minutes.
